Crossroads Blues is proud to present its first edition.
Founded by blues artist Kevin Mark and folk-blues artist Dale Boyle, Crossroads Blues is a Quebec-based online magazine that aims to support and promote blues music’s makers and shakers.
From Quebec, Canada, and the worldwide blues
community, Crossroads Blues’ monthly artist interviews will feature those involved in recording and promoting their
original blues material, as well as individuals dedicated to supporting the blues - from radio hosts to festival organizers,
and beyond. We top it off a mixed bag of blues news, events, and happenings along with John Thiebaud’s exclusive blues photography.
Like this first edition, each month
Crossroads Blues will include:
- Two feature blues interviews
- “Live Blues” page listing the entire month of upcoming blues shows
- “Blues Radio” page listing blues radio shows that you can hear online
- “Cool Picks”, recommending three great blues albums per month
- A feature article every month pertaining to the blues
And we’re off to a great
start!
Kicking of this first issue of
Crossroads Blues are interviews with Quebec City blues radio host, Michel Dubois, and one of
Canada's finest and acclaimed blues bassists
and songwriters, Stephen Barry.
We hope you enjoy the interviews
as much as we enjoyed speaking to these two very deserving individuals on the blues scene.
We look forward to bringing you
the best in blues, so keep tuning in, there’s more to come!
Thank you for visiting Crossroads Blues and helping us support those who keep the blues alive.
